We are pleased to introduce the three artists selected for the 2026 edition of Pacifique en chanson: Gila Rosa, Julie JM and NJ.
Through their unique artistic identities and creativity, these three emerging talents stood out and will begin an intensive artistic development journey this fall.
Over the coming weeks, the artists will receive personalized guidance from music industry professionals. Online sessions will focus on areas such as vocal technique, melodic development and refining their original songs.
The program will continue with a one-week residency at Studio 16 in Vancouver, from September 21 to 26, 2026. This week of creation, mentorship and collaboration will give the artists the opportunity to further develop their artistic practice in an environment that encourages experimentation and exchange.
The program will culminate in a public closing concert, where Gila Rosa, Julie JM and NJ will present the work they have developed throughout the program. It will be a unique opportunity to discover their musical worlds and celebrate their artistic growth.
Produced by the Conseil culturel et artistique francophone de la Colombie-Britannique, Pacifique en chanson is an initiative that supports emerging and semi-professional Francophone artists across the province in developing their music careers.
